VITABATH
I’ve been using VITABATH LIME CITRON BASIL bath and shower gele’e for several weeks. When I first started using this product, I didn’t like it because the citrus smell is so strong and I felt like the soap was too harsh on my skin causing me to feel dry afterward. But after several weeks of use, Vitabath has grown on me because I do feel revived afterward from the strong smell. My hubby has taken a liking to it more than me. He usually uses bath bars and doesn’t touch any of my body washes but he’s been using this product everyday. He loves the strong lime smell and the rich superfruit and vitamin blend and botanicals such as acai, goji, coffee, noni, pomegranate, green tea, mangosteen, aloe vera, vitamins A, B3, B5, C and E. If you’ve visited this site before, you already know that I have a lot of slippers. I’m in slippers almost everyday so I’m always on the lookout for what’s cute and comfortable. My newest two pairs are from VOLCOM. You will find me talking about the Volcom brand a lot because I wear a lot of their stuff. The line is edgy, fun and almost everything fits me real good. The ALL DAY LONG CREEDLER is part of the spring 2012 Creedler line and is made with a leather like upper sole, has small studded details for an edgy look, and is very thin making it a light weight slipper. It’s also wearable for almost any type of casual outing. I purchased the black and white pair. But it’s also available in bright turquoise and brown. The slipper retails for $28.

CHAN LUU has an amazing collection of high end DIY jewelry. Her collection has pieces made up of high quality leather, semi precious stones, colored cotton cord, crystals, precious pearls and many more. Her pieces are very pricey but so worth the money. Purchases that are made in a store can be returned at any time if there is a defect of any sort. A friend of mine lost one of her semi precious stones in her MIX WRAP BRACELET and she was able to return it to the store and have it fixed by Chan Luu at no cost to her. SPROUT makes eco-friendly watches for men and women that I think are very unique and affordable. Prices start at $30 and go on up to $80. There are different styles and colors to choose from including tyvek, corn resin bracelets, organic cotton and fish leather. My interest immediately went to the FISH LEATHER style because the dial face is fairly plain and medium in size, giving all of the attention to the fish leather which is soft on top and durable on the bottom and the color of the leather is a tone that is neutral making it a daytime piece that would compliment a casual outfit very nicely. MALIE SOY TRAVEL CANDLE TIN
Recently I had the privilege of attending a launch party for a new magazine. I was very pleased when I received a VIP bag full of goodies from companies that were featured in the first issue of the magazine. One of the goodies came from MALIE ORGANICS, a company that I’ve written about previously here at Island Style Weekly. You can click this LINK for that write up. The item I received was the SOY CANDLE TIN in the ORCHID aroma. I love it. It’s a small tin but I’ve been burning it every time I’m at home since I’ve received it and I still have a lot of wax left for hours and hours of burn time. The aroma is so nice. I hate anything too florally and powerful. The orchid aroma has a delicate, sweet, floral scent that lingers through each room giving the house a kiss of aloha. I highly recommend this product for your home.
MAC MINERALIZE EYE SHADOW DUO
I’m a big fan of the Mac mineralize eye shadow because of its sheer and lightweight powder formula. My all time favorite is the quartz fusion that came out a while ago with the perfect amount of glitter in it making it wearable both day and night. I’m also a big fan of liner sealer. I’ve found that liner sealers will sometimes seal your eye shadow color making it useless for future use. That’s not the case with the Mac mineralize eye shadow. I can use it as an eye shadow and as an eyeliner with my liner sealer and the pods do not freeze up or change it’s mineralized formula. These are available in 6 colors.
